Mount Wise Cottage is a gem of a cottage, we only wish we had found it sooner. We were able to relax and unwind right from the start, the cottage is very well equipped, the bed was comfy and the kitchen a pleasure to cook in. The attention to detail makes this cottage a pleasure to spend time in, and we enjoyed our holiday here very much....

Mount Wise Cottage is one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in during the past 30+ years of holidaying in Cornwall. The cottage was very clean, cosy and welcoming. We had a lovely Christmas here and Jane is a superb host, who also decorated the cottage beautifully for us for Christmas and has made us feel very welcome. The cottage is ideally situated for walking and birdwatching as well as being within easy reach of the coast and local gardens. Thank you Jane for making our first Christmas in Cornwall so special....

Thank you, Jane for a wonderful week at your cottage. When we arrived, we were just in awe of how beautiful the setting was, having the fields that we could roam around the edge with our dog, and having the secure field that we could use to let our dog off the lead. The cottage itself was warm and cozy and it was so appreciated that Jane had made and left a lemon cake, lemonade, a loaf of bread, some marmalade and some milk and not forgetting a bottle of wine ,the thoughtfulness ,and work behind this was truly appreciated. Mount Wise Cottage is the perfect dog friendly, warm and cosy retreat in a beautiful part of Cornwall, surrounded by fields with plenty of walks from the door. There is everything you need to enjoy your stay with an array of home-made goodies to welcome you. We have stayed here several times and it is a little sanctuary if you relish peace and quiet, but not too remote or far away from Truro, Falmouth or Penzance....
