Mount Wise is a gorgeous cottage and extremely well appointed with beautiful views across fields and Stithians Reservoir. We thoroughly enjoyed using it as a base to explore Cornwall and the owber made us feel very welcome. Flowers from the garden in each room were a lovely touch as were the homemade. bread, cake and lemonade that we found on arrival. We felt relaxed after our stay and were definitely very sorry to leave the cottage. The cottage proved a great location for access to most parts of the county and if you don't want to travel far the 5miles walk around the reservoir is very pleasant. While staying at Mount Wise we enjoyed days exploring The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Eden project, Trelissick gardens, Truro, Durgan beach and the Glengurgan Gardens, The Helford River, Coverack, Mevagissey and the Lizard. We hope to return oneday to continue exploring more beautiful parts of Cornwall....

The new kitchen layout has been thought through to make the best use of the available space and includes an excellent oven and hob. We really appreciated the changes, having stayed here before. The new bathroom decor gives a lighter and more spacious feel. The standard of linen and fluffy towels etc is of great quality This is an excellent cottage for a couple (and dog) who want home from home comforts. It is warm, cosy and very well equipped and in a beautiful location with walks from the door. It is a short distance from Falmouth, Helston and Porthleven so ideal for exploring the Far West of Cornwall. The delicious homemade treats that Jane provides are a wonderful welcome after a long journey. We have stayed here several times and have no hesitation in recommending it....
