Nearby pub
Conveniently situated in St Davids, the Cross is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with food served in the comfortable bar lounge. Dogs are welcome in the garden, bar and lounge area and highchairs are available for children.
Nearby beach
A small rocky cove at high tide which becomes a lovely sandy beach when the tide is out, great for rock pooling and beach games. Parking is free at the top of the cove and the footpath down is steep and winding. Check the tide times before you visit, there is no lifeguard cover and care should be taken as there are strong currents in the sea.
Nearby walk
Park in Whitesands beach car park and discover the delights of St David's Head. This is a moderate walk of just over an hour with spectacular views and rocky outcrops. Dogs are welcome on leads. Follow the link to the walk details courtesy of our friends at the National Trust.
Nearby town
Welcome to the smallest city in the United Kingdom! It may be small but St Davids is situated within the Pembrokeshire National Park and enjoys some stunning scenery alongside a magnificent cathedral. With narrow streets complete with cafes, restaurants and galleries, it's definitely a place to visit.

Warm welcome
We loved this pub which was always welcoming and the food was good.
With an emphasis on fresh local fish, there is always a meat and vegetarian option available. There's a relaxed atmosphere and this is the ideal place to go for fish and chips. It's adviseable to check opening times as this does vary throughout the year.

Great fish
The fish and chips were excellent, as was the coffee and the service. Very welcome after a walk along the coastal path.
Would definitely recommend.

This lovely deli is conveniently situated on the High Street and offers a wide selection of whole foods, wines, beer and lots of produce from Welsh providers. Renowned for its sandwiches and baguettes, stock up on picnic items here before heading out for the day.
A traditional pub, open year round but only serving food from April to September. The pubs two rooms offer a dining area and then the "glue pot" is where locals gather. An open fire in winter keeps everyone toasty! There's a pool table, darts and outside patio for warmer months.
