Zip and linkSeaside serenity, spacious comfort, breathtaking sea views, and a blissful spa tub, that’s Harmon Vale. This stunning holiday home is the perfect destination for families, friends and celebrations. Nestling in an elevated position just on the outskirts of the coastal, picturesque Pembrokeshire village of Solva, everything is at your fingertips for a top holiday. Wander down the hill to a choice of excellent pubs in the village, a gorgeous cafe, boutique shops, a pretty harbour and the beach. Children love crabbing off the quay wall, rock pooling or maybe enjoy kayaking, it's the perfect spot to launch to explore the dramatic coastline. Discover the rugged coastline, sandy beaches, hidden coves and the dramatic coastline along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, or spend long summer days on the spectacular beaches at Newgale, Whitesands or Druidston.
Embrace the holiday vibe as you step into Harmon Vale. It's where happy holidays happen. Everything has been considered for guest comfort and enjoyment. On the ground floor you will find three en suite bedrooms; a king with a front facing view, and a stylish double and spacious twin room both of which are rear facing. Spend leisurely mornings with breakfast in bed or late nights watching TV in the king room, holiday bliss! Climb the stairs to the breathtaking sea and rural views from the open plan living area, the perfect space for socialising. Gather around the large table for memorable get togethers, looking out to the expansive sky and stunning hues as the sun goes down. Whoever's turn it is to cook will be in their element in the spacious, well-equipped kitchen, whilst joining in with the laughter and chat at long-awaited get-togethers. After dinner relax on the large sofas, play board games or pop Netflix on. Perhaps on balmy summer nights you would prefer to spend time outdoors, relaxing in the hot tub together under the starry sky.
Bag the third floor principal en suite bedroom with king bed, TV and exquisite, far-reaching sea views. Spend time away from it all up here with a glass of wine and a good book, or some holiday pampering in the luxurious adjoining bathroom. Soak in the deep tub after a swim in the sea or after an invigorating walk along the coastal path.
Accessed via a path on the side of the house or via the bi-fold doors from the kitchen, down six steps, the sun shines on the rear terrace for most of the day. There is a handy outdoor shower for sandy dogs and wet suits. The nearest shop, Bay View Stores, less than a five minute walk away, is a treasure trove and a one-stop grocery store, with bakery, butcher's section, seafood delights and the best deli.
Two dogs are welcomed free of charge at Harmon Vale.
Largers parties might wish to book St Harmon (6016) next door, which also accommodates ten guests.
Ideal for laid back getaways or adventure packed holidays, Solva is a delightful place to stay. Boats may be launched in Solva's tidal harbour, which offers the perfect spot to watch the boats coming and going and the ebb and flow of the tide. At low tide an expanse of golden sand is revealed, with the River Solva trickling through, ideal for walking the dog or taking a dip at the far end or pack a picnic and take the walk to sheltered Gwadn Beach, which can also be accessed over The Gribbin via the coastal path. Walk back up the valley for a stunning circular walk.
Visit Solva Woollen Mill, nestling in Middle Mill, a mile's walk away. Watch the looms working in this old mill, weaving beautiful rugs etc which are sold in the shop. The enchanting small city of St Davids is six miles away. A visit to the Cathedral is a must and maybe lunch in the Refectory Cafe. Surfers are in paradise at Whitesands or Newgale. Book a boat trip in St Davids or for the adventurous, coasteering with TYF, paddleboarding or kayaking.
There is something for everyone in this enchanting corner of Pembrokeshire throughout the year.
