March Hare was without doubt a truly wonderful place to stay very clean and comfortable staying there with our disabled son who found it easy to manoeuvre around no restrictions at all has there was plenty of room, we would definitely recommend this place and only 10 minute walk to the beach we're going to miss this place ...

March Hare provided an excellent base and facilities, a home from home. Great, peaceful location for coastal walks and exploring the Lizard peninsula, excellent space and everything you could possible want for a week away. Plenty of space for all the family, including outdoors. All furniture was comfy, clean and stylish. The games room was a great bonus. ...

We had a lovely 5 night honeymoon stay at the March Hare. The property is very well presented, and although there was only two of us (plus our Dalmatian), there is plenty of room for 6 people including plenty of space for off road parking. It has a large enclosed garden, perfect for 4 legged friends, and there is plenty of garden furniture and a bbq. We didn't use the games room, but it would be perfect for those with children. The welcome pack was a nice touch. The property is well situated with a farm shop, local pub, and Kennack Sands beach all within easy walking distance. We would definitely recommend this property, and when in the area next, will check if it is available....

We have had a great holiday here, 3 adults staying with 3 teenagers and a dog. The Bungalow could not have been better equipped, there was everything you would need and the welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee, Cornish biscuits and a bottle of prosecco were a lovely touch. The teenagers really enjoyed the games room, and we found the dining and seating areas accommodated us all comfortably which isn't often the case for properties for larger numbers. There are blinds only at the windows, they look lovely but not as efficient as curtains for blocking the morning rays, not a problem if you like to get up early though. The garden was great, it was secure, had seating and plenty of grass to run around on with nothing we had to worry about with the dog. There was a compost area in one corner that a dog could potentially escape over however we always had a close eye on ours so this was not an issue. If you are fit and able, the local beach was a lovely little walk away, there were 2 areas, one was for dogs. The pub around the corner was nice, they didnt do food, but were very welcoming. (take a torch if walking home in the dark!) The rip tide bar and grill next door was open on Friday and Saturday, personally would only visit as a last resort. The staff were friendly, but looking at the hands of the man that served us, he looked like he had only just finished working on the stripped engine in their garage and he had not washed his hands. We would recommend if you want to eat out to book ahead and dont leave it too late in the evening, we really struggled one evening having left the house at 7:30. We didn't find anywhere nice to eat that we could walk to and sit inside however that might have just been us not looking in the right places. If you haven't explored this area, we would definitely recommend this property as a base to do so. The local area was beautiful and wasnt as touristy as busier areas of Cornwall. If you are looking for scenery and a peaceful holiday this is it. (If you like shops or a busy night life we would recommend choosing a different part of Cornwall.) ...

We enjoyed our stay at March Hare . It is a delightful family holiday home and has been furnished accordingly. There was plenty of space for the two of us and we enjoyed cooking in the well appointed kitchen. We could see that the garden and games room would appeal to families. The property is well situated to take advantage of lovely walks along the coast path with Coverack in one direction and Lizard Point in the other. Cadgwith is just a short walk away and can be accessed via a few different routes, both by road and the coast path. It is also a short walk down to Kennack Sands and to Poltesco. The bus stop at the top of the road was great on a very hot day as we were able to walk to Lizard Point and get the bus back! It’s a very regular service to the Lizard and to Helston and so offers a good option for those wanting to leave the car parked on the large gated driveway and explore! ...
