Wow, outstanding! The photos do not do this property justice. It’s larger than what you think, tastefully decorated, very well equipped plus placed with spectacular views across the countryside. The hosts are so welcoming. This is one of the nicest properties I’ve stayed in. Lovely walks along the quiet lanes, a quick drive into the town centre, it’s ideal for being away from the hustle and bustle yet still easily accessible if you want that. Lovely welcome pack for myself and the furbaby. Garden is not fully enclosed, not really a problem for me as my pooch is elderly but worth considering for others as it is sheep country. Definitely one for me to book again. ...

We were delighted to stay at this place during a week in July with our two young boys (aged 3 & 5). The cottage is situated in a very quiet area (yet close from Aberystwyth) with an amazing view on the hills and the sheeps. We loved staying on the terrace to relax at the end of the day and our boys particularly enjoyed the company of the sheeps. The cottage itself is very cosy and comfortable, with everything you need. Mark & Kate made us feel very welcome at their place and were available for us throughout our stay. We will definetely recommend this cottage and hope to be back soon !...

Cwmcaseg is one half of a lovely pair of cottages nestled high above nearby Aberystwyth. We were met by the owner who was lovely - and it turned out Cwmcaseg was lovely too! Old world charm with all modern amenities - all in one spot! (If you 'need' to remain 'connected' - the wi-fi was pretty good and reliable too!) Comfortable, homely and 'solid' - it is a wonderful base from which to explore the local area....
