If you need a nice relaxing break this is it. Angus and Jo (owners) are very friendly and approachable and make sure your stay is as pleasant as possible. They have rescue chickens so you can also get fresh free-range eggs. Being situated just outside the village of Mosterton, local amenities are available and a reasonably priced meal at the local pub is recommended. As the location is also on the border of Somerset it's very easy to get renowned local ciders if that's your tipple. The cottage itself is spacious and well equipped. Set in the lovely Dorset countryside you wake up to glorious views and peace and quiet. The cottage itself is relatively private with it's own enclosed garden so suitable for dogs. Even though it's sister cottage, The Granary, is next door we could not hear any noise and the couple who were staying there said they have been holidaying there for over 10 years now. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Diary and will definitely be staying there again. Highly recommend....

lovely clean well furnished holiday homes in peaceful private setting, so peaceful just the birds singing, very friendly and helpful owners but in no way intrusive. lovely places to visit, sherborne abbey well worth a visit, and west bay also dorchester or bridport all within about half hour. lovely walks nearby. and a small wood at the bottom of the drive to wander through and watch the wildlife. The holiday cottage garden was so pretty and relaxing with beautiful lavender, well cared for....

We had a lovely stay at the Dairy, the pictures don’t do it justice. There were lots of little extra touches like shower gel, shampoo etc and goodies to make you feel at home. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. The fencing has been rejigged to insure more privacy from the Granary (this is not shown in the picture.) ...
