A pleasant location, a relaxing house, suitable for us all and with the additional touch of luxury made for a very happy stay.
Mr Ready July 2025
Main Concern Internet / WiFi very intermittent and sometimes not at all. Son in law hoping to do some work remotely , but proved problematical, as connection kept cutting out. This is our main concern. In fairness, the office in Seaview offered the use of a room for work purposes and contacted the owner regarding the matter. Apparently the WiFi system is weak and in need of fibre optic installation. It is unfortunate that the WiFi was so inadequate, as it did have a negative effect on the holiday. There were even times when we had no phone signal! We have stayed in Seaview many times before and not encountered such difficulties. We feel it is such a pity the at these problems were encountered because there are so many wonderful advantages to the house and we would love to stay there again if these issues were addressed. ...

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on The Dairy. We are sorry that at the time of your stay the WIFI was not up to speed. The owner has now had a brand-new system installed with a different provider and this is proving to have no issues. Hopefully you will return and have a better experience next time. Really enjoyed our stay here a lovely position near the sea and within easy reach to walk to two pubs .I cannot fault Classic Cottages response when we had difficulty getting into the property and then with the rear doors to the rear garden.Within 20mins they had sent someone round to fix the doors and while he was there a lady from the Seaview office (i think she was called Barbara)came round with information and to make sure things were alright iwas very impressed as it was the first time I have used Classic Cottages but I definitely will again ...

Miss Reeve May 2025
Whilst the house was lovely and we enjoyed our stay we were disappointed in some of the amenities and the general upkeep of the house. There were no provisions for children with regards to plates or cutlery, meaning we had to go out and purchase our own. There wasn't any salt and pepper (something that noone would bring on holiday). There was a lack of cookware, in particular baking trays. Small things that make a huge difference when staying in a holiday home. The dining table was very wobbly, some of the electric blinds didnt work so were either permanently closed or permanently open, the shower in the downstairs bathroom was broken and leaked everywhere, the bifold doors are also broken with one door stuck so you cannot open them and it gets incredibly hot in that main living area, there also needs to be a non-slip backing to the rug in the living room as it is incredibly slippy. The TV did not connect to the internet and the internet itself (with EE) was awful! The most basic internet service provided so there was hardly any signal. There was also no welcome pack with the house so there were no instructions as to what to do for checkout, nothing about how to connect to wi-fi - just a QR code to scan, of which the mobile service is non-existent and you've not connected to wi-fi at that point so you're not able to! Fortuantely we used our common sense and looked for the location of the router to find the password, but we shouldnt have needed to do this. Quite possibly the most irritating thing is the old, damaged Nissan Micra that is parked directly outside the front of the house - on the actual land of the property! This was such a huge inconvenience, we were travelling with two 7 seater vehicles so just about managed to squeeze on the drive at the side of the house but having to park in this manner was a huge inconvenience throughout the week and we were constantly having to move cars around. Given that that piece of land is directly outside the house you are paying to stay in, you should expect to be able to park there and not having an eyesore of a vehicle left there which you then have to walk around anytime you use the front door. Overall, a great bones of a house in a wonderful location but there is a real lack of attention to detail and no thorough thought for the overall customer experience....

Thank you for your detailed feedback on your stay at The Dairy. I am pleased that overall you enjoyed your stay here. The Dairy is such a wonderful family home in a superb location. However, I am sorry that you were disappointed with some elements of the property. Just so you know, there have already been some improvements here, including a change of WIFI provider now offering a much better service and the downstairs shower has been repaired. Your other comments have been given to the owner so that all mentioned areas can be investigated. We do hope that we will see you again soon to better meet your expectations. Location is great, no WiFi or reception at the house at all. The dishwasher needs sorting as this smelt, easily fixed but needs attention. Our overall stay was pleasant but the above points were a little annoying!!
