Shepherds Rest is in a wonderful location surrounded by sheep and is so peaceful. The cottage was bright and airy with views all round. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back.

Shepherds rest is a little gem, from the beautiful bright high standard decor to the amazing views out over open countryside and is spotlessly clean. Katy makes you feel so very welcome from the moment you arrive to when you sadly have to leave. A very yummy pack of goodies was there on our arrival including a bottle of wine. We loved the area and plan to return and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend....

We had a lovely stay at Shepherds Rest. It was in a quiet and beautiful setting and felt very private although in the grounds of the owners property. Shepherds Rest was well equipped and very comfortable and was perfect for the two of us to enjoy our stay and also for visiting the surrounding area. Would like to visit again in the warmer weather to make the most of the outdoor areas that come with it, that looked very inviting. Katy was lovely and very welcoming and friendly and informative about places to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the provisions and treats left for us by Katy. Would definitely like to return....
