Spinneywood was beyond our expectations. Spacious, comfortable and beautiful and the views were just a blessing. Could have spent days in the sun lounge just looking at the view! Especially given the size of it, the house was immaculate from top to bottom on arrival. It is quite a way along country lanes to get anywhere something to be aware of but then the remoteness is part of what makes it special. Very well equipped generally although another frying pan would be good - we ate in a lot. Had a minor problem with the shower and it was fixed immediately which was appreciated. Tastefully and comfortably decorated and with a welcome log fire (and although we were incredibly lucky with the April weather, we appreciated the warmth and coziness in the evenings). Extremely well equipped with everything - and more - anyone would need! The welcome “goodies”, hairdryers and toiletries are a very considerate touch. We had an excellent stay at Spinneywood. The property had everything that you would need and was even better than the photos. The view was breathtaking. Would love to come back one day.
