We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Cistus Cottage. The cottage is very charming & perhaps cosy for a family of four, but this is to be expected for a property with such an age and history. The children loved staying in a cottage over 300 years old! The interior is modern and clean, and we didn’t really want for anything during our stay. We had a lovely week in Cistus Cottage - Cornwall was somewhere long on my 'really want to visit' list and we were delighted with the cottage. The location was perfect for travelling around Cornwall and the cottage itself was beautifully restored and very clean and comfortable. We didn't want to leave!....

It's a beautiful cottage, but our stay was spoilt by the smell in the lounge. There is something green growing over a large part of the fireplace wall, and in a few other places, touch them, and that is what you can smell. Not nice to be breathing in. The bed mattress wasn't very comfortable. ...
