We have stayed in many holiday homes over the years and The Haven at Hadrian’s Wall is one of the very best that we have found. It is very spacious, comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The owners have made every effort to make sure their guests have everything necessary to make their stay perfect, it is truly a home from home. It is also well located for exploring the area and there are plenty of good friendly local pubs and cafes that offer good food and good value. We certainly hope to return to The Haven and have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone thinking of visiting the area....

Our first visit to Hadrians Wall area and the perfect place to stay. The cottage is very comfortable, spacious and felt homely and cared for, with the lots of places to sit on comfy sofas, lovely decor, furniture and art work. We loved the views out of the big window and were kept entertained by the sheep and cows ( who needs a TV?!) and getting snuggly in the snug with the woodburner after a wet and windy walk! Slept well in the comfy bed, the location was so quiet and peaceful with only the farm and livestock as your neighbours, a great place to escape the rat race. It is really close to Hadrians Wall which is fascinating and we use of the local buses to do linear walks and would recommend with visits to the Roman Army Museum and Vindolanda. Learnt so much! Close the the Lakes and North Pennines where we did some walks and didnt see a single person! Weather was a mixed bag but was enjoyable either rain or shine. Truly a special place to stay and a memorable holiday, would recommend in staying in the area....

Really enjoyed our holiday. The barn was lovely, it had everything we needed, making it a great base. Situated in beautiful countryside, with great views, especially the sunsets and local livestock! It gave us easy access to so many things for us to do during our stay in the area, such as walking, visiting historic sites and towns. Thank you to the owners and Classic Cottages, a real gem....

A beautifully furnished cottage located a stones throw from Hadrian's Wall and surrounded by beautiful national parks. Great amenities and a lovely welcome bundle! We loved our cozy winter stay in the Baggarah and would highly recommend it to anyone.
