Our stay at Streamside cottage was wonderful. It's fantastically located in the village of otterton, which is situated perfectly between Sidmouth and Budliegh Salterton . The kitchen is very well stocked in terms of equipment. The garden is bigger than you'd think from the photos and has all kinds of nooks and crannies ideal for young children and pets. There's lots of seating area in the garden as well so plenty of room for you to be able to eat outside. On the whole, a lovely place to stay....

We loved this cottage. Ideally situated in a beautiful part of Devon with lovely walks on the doorstep. Very well equipped with everything you needed. Well stocked with games too. Enclosed garden was very pretty and our dog loved it. Fresh flowers and a tea tray with biscuits on arrival too. I would love to give this 5 stars but due to TV not working all week and cooker and hood needing a deep clean I couldn't. Parking at the property was a bit difficult with a big car. Overall we had a great stay and a week of sunshine too....

Mr Green June 2025
Overall the property was very clean. However, the extractor fan in the bathroom was covered in dust. The upper grass area on the LH side had not been cut for some time, & lying on its side where it had broken off, was an old rusty rotary clothes line. The hot water tap in the outside toilet did not provide any water, & the cold water supply was just a trickle. WiFi very poor & kept dropping out. Smart TV would not connect so of no use at all. No WiFi reception once outside the back door. The width of the driveway is very narrow if you have an SUV as the main gates cannot only be opened fully. Once you have reversed into the space, the vehicle doors cannot be fully opened so its very tight getting in & out. ...

Ms Ward October 2024
We had a very relaxing week in this very comfortable, well equipped cottage in a lovely village. The log burner made for extremely relaxing autumn evenings. The village is lovely with a community shop that was so well stocked, and can order local fish, with prices as good or better than many supermarkets. Cottage provides best of both worlds with garden including visiting pheasant, fields at the back and views of hills but short walk to village shop and a pub. Lots to do in local area including Bicton Park Botanical Gardens, river and coast cruises via Stuart Line in Exmouth. We would love to return....

Well equipped cottage in a small village which had a good pub, community shop and mill with cafe and farm shop. Excellent location for dog walks, check out the Pebblebed heaths.
