We had a lovely stay at Jessie! Loved the cows, horses and sheep on site. It was super relaxing and just what we needed. The eggs, bread, milk and juices were a great touch for the next morning as we could have a slow start to the day. We loved the crab apple trees, however, if you have a dog that eats everything in sight, you really wish for a rake to move the ones that dropped to a corner. I would say, it would instead of the link for the exact location it would be best to mention the sign on the gate as the pinpoint was dropping us on the opposite side of the road, which had no entrance! We also tried to contact the host sue on a few occasions as we are not from the area, and was finding it hard to get any kindling so wanted to know where we can buy some but had no response from sue. Overall a great stay but wished we were able to get a hold of the host. ...

An excellent Shepherd’s hut in the most perfect location. Everything is well thought out, clean and comfortable. Very nice shower and kitchen, more than decent bed. Well located for days out to Rye, Battle, St Leonard’s and old Town Hastings. Came back feeling very refreshed. ...

Jessie shepherds hut was absolutely amazing, my partner and I had such a relaxing weekend. Lovely touch leaving eggs, butter and bread for a simple Saturday morning breakfast. I have already recommended the property to family and friends and will return again! Brian the dog also had a fantastic time....
