Jessie is a delightful Shepherd’s Hut in a beautiful orchard setting with lovely views. Everything in the hut was high quality with great attention to detail. The bed was very comfortable. On arrival, there were provisions for us which was much appreciated. We loved that it was set in an orchard with lots of space around it and ideal for our dog, as it was a fenced area. The village is just a short walk away and we enjoyed a meal at the pub. Rye and Battle were local highlights. We would highly recommend a stay at Jessie’s. A wonderful , well equipped property with everything needed for a relaxing break. Firepit/barbecue provided for outdoor evenings and a fantastic secure area for the dog to wander in and out as he pleased.

We had an excellent time at Jessie’s, very peaceful setting which made for a relaxing couple of days. Everything was thought of and well organised. Great location, close to Battle and Rye. We had a lovely coastal walk at the Hastings nature reserve, situated on the coast road towards fair Light. Beautiful scenery. We intend to come again....

We had such an enjoyable weekend at Jessie. The Hut was clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The wood burning stove was lovely. The lit up path made arriving in the evening straightforward. We really enjoyed exploring the surrounding area (Battle, Hastings) and visiting the local pubs. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful weekend away! ...
