Stargazey Barn

We found Stargazey Barn to be a perfect little gem of a cottage and a fabulous place to stay. This is a beautifully furnished, well equipped and well planned cottage, which was warm and comfortable to stay in, and light and airy too. Spotlessly clean, we had everything we needed and the little secluded garden attached was a real bonus to enjoy on sunny days or clear starlit nights. Owners, Michelle and Matt are nearby and strike the most perfect balance between being on hand, should there be anything you need, whilst respecting your privacy. The location of Stargazey Barn, for the continuation of my SWCP charity walk, couldn't have been more perfect for the 16 days we spent there. Coupled with the stunning beauty and diversity of the coastal path from Gwithian Towans, past St Ives, Cape Cornwall and Lamorna Cove and all the way round to Mullion Cove, made our stay a truly memorable part of my epic adventure....

Lovely property we had a fab time over new year . Property is lovely and cosy really clean with everything you would need and more ! Also some lovely Christmas decorations. Its in a great location easy to get out and about . We even managed to see the stars had one clear night . Would definitely recommend and would imagine it would be lovely in summer .Many thanks for a lovely New Year break....

We enjoyed a peaceful week in the countryside at Stargazey Barn. The garden was secure for our dogs and the bed was very comfortable, so we slept well. The property was well maintained. The cream tea upon arrival was appreciated. The situation is quite remote, but we appreciated the wildlife in the area and the abundance of wild flowers. We encountered a few issues with public footpaths in the immediate vicinity when walking the dogs - many of the footpaths had been blocked by farmers and this often made access difficult. There was also a bull in the nearby field, which fortunately we spotted in good time....

Our second time to Stargazey and we loved it as much. Thank you Michelle for your careful eye to detail, the beautiful flower and autumn foliage display and delicious baking. We intend to return again.

We had a wonderful stay at Stargazey barn - lovely warm welcome on arrival from Michelle, which she had kimdly made us scones, with Jam & Cream, also homemade bread along with milk in the fridge. The barn was very thoughtfully done making it feel home from home. Our elderly dog loved it with the beautiful enclosed garden. Beautiful stars at night along with all the nature set in beautiful countryside but close to the sea and beautiful destinations - we saw a beautiful barn owl there a few times. I would definitely recommend Stargazey barn - it really was a memorable stay thank you x ...
