Mrs Davies August 2024

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gull Rock View. It was conveniently located to be able to walk in to Portscatho centre which was nice. There is a beach within walking distance through the small car park down the road (5 minutes walk). The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed plus a full size fridge and freezer. We had our food shopping delivered with ease. You don’t have to use Alexa but we did for a few things. (Our children found it novel and enjoyed asking ‘Alexa, please tell me a joke’ many, many times.) A beautifully situated property, easy access to the nearby village centre (with its well-stocked village shop, and a variety of good places for food and drink). In many ways ideal. Thank you for your lovely review, we agree that Gull Rock View is perfectly placed for exploring what Portscatho has to offer. We do appreciate that not everyone is a fan of using smart assistants and although Alexa can be handy, it isn’t a requirement to use the facilities at Gull Rock View. Everything can still be used the good ol’ fashioned way, and should you wish to use Alexa then instructions are in the house pack. Thank you again for your review and we hope that we could welcome you back to Portscatho again in the future! Joel, Customer Support...

Mrs Down October 2024

A very comfortable home from home property. Easy walking distance to Porthcurnick beach, and the Hidden Hut, and also into the village. Off road parking for 2 cars and also close to bus stops for going to St Mawes or Truro. Two nice pubs offering good food also within walking distance....

Perfect for all our needs, clean and comfortable with a pretty garden and beautiful view. Located in a quiet and friendly area, halfway between the beach and village. Will definitely be staying again.

Mr Wirz April 2023

The only problem we had was the weather, unfortunately not much sun during our stay, lots of strong winds.

What a shame that you didn't get chance to experience the area in the sunshine - maybe a return trip in the future will bring better weather? Tanya, Customer Support
