Dawlish Warren is a great seaside town, providing sandy beaches and numerous seaside attractions. A splendid day out for both young and old, and it's only 30 minutes away by car.
The stunning coastal town of Shaldon is also only a short drive away. Another superb day out for all, as Shaldon is home to a sandy beach, numerous eateries, botanical gardens and even a small zoo.
Slightly further afield, Exmouth provides another great hotspot to explore and enjoy.

This was a lovely cottage, beautifully furnished, equipped with everything you needed, even crabbing nets for the kids( our grandson loved this ), and with stunning views into the harbour- even managed to see a seal. There is limited parking outside the cottage but we managed to find two spaces nearby, even when we moved the cars, and there is car park about 1/4 mile away.As the cottage is on a hill, and set over 4 floors, this property may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. ...

We really enjoyed staying at Foxes Cove, great location and views, the house is well setup and equipped. Waking up to the ocean each morning is such a treat. Everything you might need for a week away is so close, whether that be places to see, things to do or just everyday basics. Highly recommended....
