Acorns is one of the nicest properties that we have ever stayed at and is in a perfect location. The beds are comfortable and the and views from the bedroom windows are lovely .The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook and the welcome hamper was wonderful with all local produce but if cooking isn't on the agend there are plenty of places within walking distance . There is so much to see and do in the area that we ran out of time and have decided that we will be back to stay at Acorns in the near future....

A delightful house with everything you could need for your stay in a beautiful location.

Mrs Bayley May 2025

We loved our week staying at Acorns, which is in an ideal location on the edge of Corfe Castle village (within easy walking distance), with beautiful walks on the doorstep. We could see the steam railway and also the deer who visited the garden next door, including a mother with a baby fawn. The house was very well equipped with everything we could possibly need, and was both homely and comfortable with good parking. The garden is fully fenced which makes it very safe for young children. The owners had provided good instructions for everything, and we found their photobook of the transformation from a run-down cottage to the present day most interesting. There is much to see in the area including historic Corfe Castle, the steam railway to Swanage, the attractive town of Wareham, the lovely beaches at Studland, and for foodies the Pig on the Beach also at Studland. We would definitely return!...

We have stayed in some lovely houses, but this is up there with the best. It is not a house, it is a home that enables you to be comfortable from first arrival. There is also a wonderful welcome pack to greet you that has been bought in the local shop to support local trade. Corfe Castle itself is full of wonderful attractions, pubs and shops to suit all needs. Our favourites were The Green Goat in West Street, Bankes Inn (especially for Sunday lunch) and the main attraction, Corfe Castle itself. Corfe station gave easy access to the steam train, but there were many attractions locally that have to be visited. Lulworth Cove, Durdle Dor and a local beach that we were asked to keep secret. That's a challenge for you - where is it? Back to the star of the show and the house was fully equipped to enable home cooked meals of any description. Alongside this was the ability stream programmes on the smart TV's to entertain the family. home from home, truly....
