Situated a little distance from the side of The Old Mill is this pretty pond (please take care with younger guests and dogs). You'll be sure to spot the colourful dragonflies here.
These original external steps are quite steep so please take care and use the rope handrail. The area you can see on the left-hand side, at the top of the steps, is not enclosed so please be mindful not to go too close to the edge.
Keep an eye out for this sign on the road which is at the entrance of the driveway down to The Old MIll.

We chose the Old Mill because we needed two double ensuite rooms which offered each couple in our party a high level of privacy. The bedroom layout was perfect - effectively a room in each 'wing' separated by a landing. But there was a lovely living room on the first floor then a great kitchen/ dining area and outdoor space for us to enjoy all together too. We were blessed with beautiful weather - but even in the rain or winter time I can imagine the property is very cosy. Good parking and path to the property. The owner is present if needed but very discrete. Enjoyed hearing the sheep, to break up the silence of what is a very quiet location. Thank you. ...

A wonderful renovation and a real 'home'. Very peaceful and relaxing location, but within easy driving distance of so many good eating places and interesting sites. Lots of good walks nearby too. A perfect place to stay.

The Old Mill is a unique property that has been transformed by a high standard of fixtures and fittings. All of which are a good quality and well thought out. The location is tranquil and the resident sheep are cute and quiet. Betty, the matron, even has her own stable and will come and say hello once she gets to know you. The owners are on site and very accommodating should you have any issues or questions....

We had a lovely time, that's the main thing. Just for future guests thinking of staying with their dog, there is an electric fence in the garden. We were able to disconnect it when in the garden but were asked to reconnect it if we were going out/not in the garden. There are 2 bedrooms and both have double beds...so unless you are 2 couples some sleeping arrangements would need to be agreed on :-) Neil, the owner is lovely. Not intrusive ( a some owners can be)...
