The Bowhay shepherd hut was a delight to stay at and the location and views are second to none. Shops and facilities are all within a short drive and there is plenty to do around the hut. We used the hot tub nearly every night and the views come alive when it is a clear night and all the stars come out. The hosts were excellent and more than accommodating, especially given the COVID pandemic. Fresh eggs, milk and orange juice were a lovely addition. Likewise a large store or kindling and logs for the indoor fire and firepit gave us several uses throughout the week. We'd highly recommend the hut to anyone thinking about an escape to the country and some relaxation time. ...
