We had such a lovely weekend at Bowhay Shepherds Hut. The hosts were so thoughtful to leave some milk and eggs in the fridge which we really appreciated. The hut was so cozy and we had all the amenities we would need to make a quick meal or to cozy up and the hot tub was so enjoyable. We had so much fun playing scrabble and visiting the cute town nearby. We also got to say Hi to the alpacas greeting us by the entrance which was so cute. Recommend visiting the oldest yew tree at the churchyard , the river shack has some good views and delicious breakfast and the riverford field kitchen for amazing fresh produce in a really well thought out menu. Loved everything. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. ...

This is a lovely place to stay. The shepherd’s hut is beautiful and we really enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit and seeing the alpacas.
