The little church at Church Cove, more recently made famous by the BBC series Poldark, is a few minutes down the road, with National Trust parking nearby.
Sandy at low tide and lifeguarded in high season plus toilets and a little hut serving snacks and drinks.
Build sandcastles or pebble towers, dip your toes in the water or surf the waves, the choice is yours.
Pretty Porthleven harbour is only five miles away. This 'foodie' place has lots of cafes, restaurants and quaint shops.
The Helford River has much to offer the visitor whether you like to explore by foot or on the water.
Kynance Cove is a highlight of The Lizard Peninsula.

Coverack Bay has a lovely sandy beach and a windsurfing school.

This was my second time staying at the Cow Shed but my Daughter’s and 5 year old Grandson’s first time and they adored it. My Grandson loved the area and everywhere we took him he was so excited. Which was great as his ancestors are Cornish. He was over the moon when the Farmer showed him around the farm to meet the cows and to be shown how they were milked. He missed it so much he cried when he arrived home and said he misses the Cow Shed. A great holiday all around...

Tesco & Sainsburys are located at Helston just down the road .There are plenty of warnings on beaches along this coast line , take care if choosing to enter the sea . Some of the beaches will have a deep shelf with massive breakers. Some beaches which are safe to swim will have notices . Local beach Church Cove eastern side only••...
