Little Gem is a sweet little cottage. We were welcomed with a cream tea!!! Thankyou! But we're from Devon so its cream first! Compact, but with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The spiral stairs were challenging, but we mastered carrying two hot cups of morning coffee up them quite well by the end of the week! The bed was so comfortable that it was a challenge to get out of it in the mornings!! Lerryn is a very quiet, pretty village, with lovely estuary and woodland walks directly from the house. An eye had to be kept on the tides, as the access road was flooded at high tide. It never reached the cottage though. Pity it faces north , though, so not in the sun, but the evening sun did reach the little courtyard at the front, so we were able to sit for one sunny, evening appreciating the lovely view with our glass of wine, even though it was November! We had a meal in the local pub a few yards down the road, next to the shop which was well stocked with tasty treats We had a couple of issues which were dealt with promptly and efficiently....
