The new kitchen layout has been thought through to make the best use of the available space and includes an excellent oven and hob. We really appreciated the changes, having stayed here before. The new bathroom decor gives a lighter and more spacious feel. The standard of linen and fluffy towels etc is of great quality This is an excellent cottage for a couple (and dog) who want home from home comforts. It is warm, cosy and very well equipped and in a beautiful location with walks from the door. It is a short distance from Falmouth, Helston and Porthleven so ideal for exploring the Far West of Cornwall. The delicious homemade treats that Jane provides are a wonderful welcome after a long journey. We have stayed here several times and have no hesitation in recommending it....

Mount Wise Cottage is one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in during the past 30+ years of holidaying in Cornwall. The cottage was very clean, cosy and welcoming. We had a lovely Christmas here and Jane is a superb host, who also decorated the cottage beautifully for us for Christmas and has made us feel very welcome. The cottage is ideally situated for walking and birdwatching as well as being within easy reach of the coast and local gardens. Mount Wise Cottage is the perfect dog friendly, warm and cosy retreat in a beautiful part of Cornwall, surrounded by fields with plenty of walks from the door. There is everything you need to enjoy your stay with an array of home-made goodies to welcome you.
