We had a lovely stay at Mount Wise Cottage. Jane is a wonderful host and went above and beyond to make sure everthing was as it should be. She is very kind and friendly and left lots of extras for us to enjoy including homemade bread and preserves which were delicious and much appreciated. We very much hope to return next year....

The Cottage is immaculately presented and spotlessly clean. A lot of thought and hard work has gone into making it a perfect holiday cottage, It is in a quiet location surrounded by acres of fields also belonging to the owner which you are free to walk. There was a goody bag for our dog and homemade bread, cake and lemonade left for us along with a bottle of wine and fresh flowers. We have no hesitation in recommending this cottage and will definitely be returning for another relaxing holiday at The Cottage. ...

Mount Wise is a gorgeous cottage and extremely well appointed with beautiful views across fields and Stithians Reservoir. We thoroughly enjoyed using it as a base to explore Cornwall and the owber made us feel very welcome. Flowers from the garden in each room were a lovely touch as were the homemade. bread, cake and lemonade that we found on arrival. We felt relaxed after our stay and were definitely very sorry to leave the cottage. The cottage proved a great location for access to most parts of the county and if you don't want to travel far the 5miles walk around the reservoir is very pleasant. While staying at Mount Wise we enjoyed days exploring The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Eden project, Trelissick gardens, Truro, Durgan beach and the Glengurgan Gardens, The Helford River, Coverack, Mevagissey and the Lizard. We hope to return oneday to continue exploring more beautiful parts of Cornwall....

Lovely cozy and comfortable well equipped cottage for 2 people. Owner very friendly and welcoming,when you arrive homemade bread and marmalade awaits and fresh flowers a lovely touch.
