Heligan Gardens are a short drive away and well worth a visit, especially in the spring.

A well-appointed and comfortable cottage. Within easy walking distance of Fowey's shops, restaurant and pubs but in a peaceful location. Weather permitting, the patio is a lovely place to sit and eat. The wine, biscuits and milk waiting our arrival is a nice touch, as was the card the owner sent to us wishing us a happy holiday....

This was our second visit to Vougeot. A very nice peaceful place to come back to yet in the centre of everything. Readymoney Beach the weather was hot so the beach was great, Harbour, We love the boat trips, and watching all the boats go by, there was even a cruise ship Just outside of the harbour ! Vougeot is the prefect holiday retreat a real home from home . Set in lovely gardens with private patio garden ,yet so close to centre of Fowey . Beautifully decorated ,lovely kitchen with everything you could possibly need and spotlessly clean . The car parking space is a real bonus too . Lots of places to eat and drink The harbour hotel excellent food and only a few minutes walk away . Plenty of lovely walks to go on . The walk to Readymoney cove where you can swim or just enjoy the views is only 10 minutes walk away . Great base for exploring Cornwall and the Eden project. Lots of Ferry and boat trips to enjoy . We will definitely return ....
