The Isle of Purbeck is a stunning National Landscape between Poole and Swanage, boasting one of the most spectacular coastlines in Dorset.

Sunnyholme is an extremely spacious detached 1930s house in the middle of this pretty village of Studland, it is the perfect base for families to relax and enjoy the area. Studland is famous for its unspoilt golden beaches and nature reserves - lucky then that a gorgeous sandy beach is only a half-mile walk away and certainly worth the stroll.

This sun-filled house has a large, enclosed garden and a kitchen/dining-room equipped with everything you could possibly need to cook up a feast for the family after a long day. This room even has French windows opening onto a fabulous terrace, complete with table, chairs and sun loungers - here, you are able to watch the sun set and unwind while overlooking the valley and catch a glimpse of the sea too. The comfortable sitting-room has the same far-reaching views and benefits from a TV that offers both Sky Sports and BT Sport; Netflix and Amazon Prime are available too, if you have your own accounts.

After a long day exploring what Studland has to offer, the four bedrooms upstairs provide the perfect retreat to rest your head. Two of the bedrooms look out across the garden and on to the surrounding countryside; is there anything better than waking up to a spectacular view?

For a bit of family competition, enjoy a friendly game or two of table-tennis in the games-room.

Sunnyholme is ideally placed to explore this exceptional area of Dorset, where miles of unspoilt golden sands are cared for by the National Trust, ensuring that walkers, birdwatchers and sunbathers alike can enjoy the clear sands, blue seas, wildlife and coastal walks to the full. For the sporty amongst you, head to the nearby Isle of Purbeck Golf Course (less than two miles away), that has fabulous views. For those looking for something more cultural, take a drive to Poole Museum and walk amongst the history of the ancient port town.
