The cottage was even better than expected. The owners were friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive. The garden and outdoor space was beautiful. We felt very comfortable and the dog loved it too.

The owners, Linda and Jon, are so friendly and helpful. A great deal of love and attention to detail have been invested in Minstrels. The wet room is a real luxury feature and the use of the roof space is eye catching. It's a really cosy, warm place to stay. We weren't particularly impressed with local pubs fir eating out in the evening. We had far more success using excellent cafes for lunch in Bath, Frome, Beckington and Wells. Wells Cathedral was awe inspiring, especially the library. The Avalon Marshes are quite otherworldly and the wildlife is remarkable. The location was further West than would have been ideal for us fir the main places we intended to visit....
