A very peaceful location, although overlooking the owners working garden so not as private as expected. Lovely long views to the surrounding woods. Simple decor. Electric shower. Comfortable bed. Nice local walks from the door.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this holiday cottage. The property was immaculately clean and set in an excellent location, with the A30 just minutes away—perfect for exploring both the north and south coasts. One of the highlights was the beautiful view from the upstairs lounge—a peaceful spot to unwind and take in the scenery. The whole place had a calm, relaxing atmosphere and was incredibly quiet, making it ideal for a restful getaway. The cottage had everything we could possibly need—the facilities and equipment were top-notch, and we really appreciated all the thoughtful touches throughout. We were also welcomed with a delicious cream tea on arrival, which was such a lovely gesture. The owners gave us a warm welcome but were respectful of our privacy throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. There are some fantastic walks right on the doorstep and in the surrounding area, and we’d also highly recommend a visit to Strawberry Fields Farm Shop, just a couple of minutes from the property. They have an excellent selection, delicious food, and incredibly friendly staff. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped base to explore Devon & Cornwall. We’d absolutely love to return!...

We had a great stay at Leat Cottage. It was warm, comfortable and spacious for two people. Comfortable bed and seats. Lovely location, very good access to Dartmoor, Cornish coast and National Trust properties.
