Accessed via stone steps from the sea front, and up a further flight of steps, you will reach your destination once you have crossed your private bridge to the front door.
St Mawes is a magical place for a holiday with stunning scenery, gorgeous beaches and a bustling sailing harbour all just waiting to be explored. Pack up a picnic and take the small ferry to Place where you can walk the coastal path to St Anthony headland stopping off for lunch in one of the secret coves along the way. Take the passenger ferry to the vibrant maritime town of Falmouth with its range of artisan shops, cafes and restaurants.
There's a great selection of places to eat out on your doorstep from traditional pubs to fine dining in waterside restaurants such as the Tresanton and Idle Rocks. For those evenings in stroll over to the harbour and pick up the catch of the day from the St Mawes seafood stand on the quay.
St Mawes castle and Lamorran House Gardens enjoy fabulous views and are well worth a visit, swimmers will love the sheltered waters for morning dips, water sports enthusiasts are well catered for with boats and kayaks for hire and children will like rock pooling and crabbing on the beach .
