Designed for four but equally perfect as a retreat for two, Craddocks Cottage offers lovely, comfortable holiday accommodation, immaculately presented and decorated throughout in a soft relaxing palette.
Perfect for making the most of quality time together, Craddocks Cottage offers a well-equipped kitchen and spacious sitting/dining area, with a glazed door opening out to the sunny south-facing patio. Take the oak stairs up to the two cosy bedrooms, one with a rather fabulous en suite shower-room. Both the bedrooms offer luxury linens, sumptuous beds and sea views from each window. The family bathroom upstairs is a light, modern space; run a hot bubble bath for a soak after a day on the coast path. There is also the downstairs cloakroom off the living area.
Outside, the small terrace area is a great spot to enjoy evening drinks at the end of a busy day exploring the delights of west Cornwall. There is also private parking - very rare in Mousehole!
Due to its excellent location, you are only a short walk from all that the village has to offer. Perch on the harbour wall with a picnic, spend the day on the beach as the tide goes out, or watch the fishermen's boats bobbing on the horizon. Mousehole is Cornwall at its absolute best and is fast becoming one of its most popular destinations. It's obvious to see why. Charming and quintessential, Mousehole is a dear little village with the prettiest of harbours and excellent restaurants, tea shops, pubs and galleries tucked away down its higgledy-piggledy lanes.
The working fishing harbour of Newlyn and bustling town of Penzance are only 10 minutes' drive away. Slightly further is St Ives, home to the Tate gallery, the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden, six fantastic beaches and plenty of shops and restaurants.
For further holiday pleasures grab those walking boots and blow away the cobwebs as you take to the coastal path enjoying panoramic seascapes along the way. Around this area there are many wonderful walks from Mousehole; the coastal path to Lamorna is one of the prettiest you will find anywhere in Cornwall.
