The owner of the barns is also the custodian of the Caerhays Estate near St Austell, come and visit during  your stay.
You can explore the estate gardens from 12th February to 16th June 2024. The castle will be open for guided tours from 11th March to 7th June 2024.

Step through the front door into the light and spacious hallway of this reverse level barn to find the sitting/dining-room complete with comfy sofas and cosy wood-burner, a great space for relaxing with family and friends.

Curl up on one of the comfy sofas or in an armchair to read a book or listen to music (a Bluetooth radio speaker with docking point is provided); this is a lovely room to spend time in after a day out and about exploring or relaxing at home.

With wonderful far reaching countryside views, semi-detached Burnfoot enjoys a secluded, elevated position just outside the little hamlet of Penhalvean, with its next door neighbour Gilly Barn (2005) and the farm next door being the only neighbours.

Not only does this super barn have everything you need for that get away from it all holiday break in a peaceful location but there are many little touches throughout the barn so you can just come and relax without having to think of anything.

On the first floor you will find the gorgeous well-equipped kitchen, a handy shower-room and the sitting/dining-room, whilst on the ground floor there are three comfortable bedrooms (one en suite) and the family bathroom.

All bedrooms are beautifully presented, and two have access to the outside space at the rear of the barn. There is also your private enclosed garden to the front of the property, the perfect location to sit and listen to the birdsong and sounds of rural countryside living.

The villages of Stithians and Lanner, both only two miles away, offer local village stores for basic supplies and for a larger shop why not order a delivery from one of the local supermarkets, or jump in the car as both Truro and Falmouth are not far away.

Burncoose Garden is nearby, is free to enter and open year round. Do visit the nursery whilst there and see the beautiful plants on display.

And for those looking for some adventure on the water, you are a hop and a skip from Stithians Lake, where you will find an array of activities on offer, from fishing to footpaths, wildlife to watersports and also a cafe, the lake is both a hub of activity and a peaceful escape.

If you are a large party or two families (up to 11 guests) you can book both barns together and receive a 10% discount off your booking, and with a gate in the fence between the two properties you can easily get together for some holiday fun, the thoughtful owners have really thought of everything!
