Our family ethos
Tony and Clare Tregoning started the business back in 1977 and their dedication to quality and excellence is at the heart of everything we do. Tony is sadly no longer with us, but we still adhere to their original ethos of finding holiday homes we would like to stay in and have slowly grown the company to find the best picks of properties across the counties. Plus Clare still drops in to keep us on our toes.
As an independent, family-run company, we wouldn’t expect you to stay anywhere we wouldn’t want to stay ourselves. And we’re pretty picky. We want you to walk into your handpicked holiday home and say ‘wow’, sit back and relax.
With a cottage on the coast you can take advantage of being beside the sea, whether it’s just for the two of you or for the whole family. There are great adventures to be had, from trying out a new water sport such as kayaking or coasteering, to exploring the coast path. And if you simply want to relax on the beach with a cold drink in hand? Well, we don’t blame you!
Coastal spots come with a great choice of local food, from freshly caught seafood, a hearty fish and chips and fine dining too. So you won’t be short on places to eat…
We have coastal cottages in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Pembrokeshire, the Isle of Wight, Yorkshire and the Scottish Highlands, so there’s plenty of places to choose from for your coastal holiday. Plus, we have dog friendly cottages so that your dog can make the most of the sea for a swim and a game of fetch on the sand.
