The Best of Fish & Folk - an intimate supper club in Cornwall

As we drift into late summertime, now’s a great time to gather together and celebrate music and good food. The Rockpool will be hosting an intimate music and supper evening on 25th September at their fabulous beachside venue, nestled between the dunes of Gwithian and Godrevy at the far end of St Ives Bay. Sound good? We thought so too…

What is it?

Taking place on Saturday 25th September, arrive between 6 – 6.30pm to be greeted with a welcome cocktail, before being seated at 7pm for a delicious dinner. The menu marries  Asian flavours with seasonal Cornish produce - you will be able to try multiple dishes with plenty for seconds!

Beginning with a selection of fantastic starters, the mouth-watering menu includes main dishes such as Cornish Crab Cakes with Spring Onion and Chilli, Yellow Monkfish and Tiger Prawn Curry and Thai Green Crispy Tempe Curry, which will be followed by dessert. Delicious! The menu has been crafted by head chef Ryan Venning, an experienced international chef originally from South Africa, whose recipes have featured in many well-known cookbooks including Great British Chefs and The Great Cornish Fish Book. The food is entirely dairy free, and vegetarians and vegans are catered for within the sharing platters.

Music

Unwind into the laid back atmosphere with some fantastic music, provided by Steve Knightley, a multi-award-winning folk singer and songwriter and founder member of widely acclaimed folk/acoustic ‘Show of Hands’ band.
