Here you'll find a shingle beach which sits in-between Shoreham-by Sea and Worthing. Dogs are allowed year round which is great for dog walkers as there's a vast swathe of compact sand exposed at low tide. The beach is popular with sailors, windsurfers and kite-surfers. Please note there is no lifeguard cover.

Located just north of the South Downs, Thakeham is a pretty village with a church and local pub, The White Lion Inn, well located for refreshments if you are exploring the area.

Ashington is a pretty village, surrounded in rolling Sussex countryside and with easy access to the A24. The Red Lion pub sits in the heart of the village and you will find a vast selection of walks in the area.

Lovely pub, fantastic service and great value for money. Will definitely be visiting again
