If you want to revert to pedal power the renowned Camel Trail starts at nearby Wenford Bridge, where you can fill up on a hearty breakfast at the Snail's Pace cafe, before you start winding your way through wooded valleys and countryside eventually cycling along the banks of the Camel Estuary as you arrive at the foodie heaven of Padstow. For more trails Cardinham Woods and Lanhydrock will delight and whilst at Lanhydrock take time to explore the parkland, gardens and historic house.
Take things a little easier with a day out at the great houses and gardens of Pencarrow and Lanhydrock, or take a wander around the pretty fishing villages of Port Isaac and Boscastle.
