This gorgeous quirky treehouse is the perfect escape for a romantic getaway. Truly unique and in a lovely part of West Sussex, it sits in a secluded spot in the middle of a beautiful woodland glade.

Split over several levels, there are sofas, a dining-table and a wood-burner effect gas stove which is the perfect place to relax in front of whilst listening to the sounds of nature that surrounds you. There is a spacious kitchen with a gas oven and hob, fridge and just outside the kitchen area is a wood-fired pizza oven, so there are plenty of options to rustle up something tasty.

Decking leads to another dining-area, which is a nice spot for breakfast or afternoon tea, and stairs lead to the second floor where there is a bistro table and chairs and the most amazing views of the woodland and surrounding farmland.

The bedroom is a welcoming retreat with its wood-burning stove and is dressed in sumptuous linens and decorated in muted tones to reflect the tranquil surroundings.

A few yards away, and still in the privacy of the woodland, is an outdoor shower area with compost toilet and sink.

Little Oak Treehouse is truly wonderful, the perfect bolthole for those looking for a romantic hideaway and somewhere peaceful where you can escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

For those wishing to stay with friends there are two shepherd's huts on site, Douglas Fir (5290) and Cala Lily (5289), which share this lovely location.

Being in a rural spot a car is a must, taxis are few and far between. The nearest train station is 12 minutes away and trains come from London every half an hour.

West Sussex has lots to explore including Petworth House and Gardens, Knepp Castle Estate which is great for walks and seeing the storks and other wildlife, the Woodland Trust and RSPB Pulborough Brooks nature reserve, Arundel Castle, Parham House and Gardens, Bramber Castle, Amberley Museum and Heritage Centre, Arundel Museum, Goodwood, Chichester, Bosham and The Weald and Downland Museum.

The nearest beach is only 15 minutes away, although West Wittering is 40 minutes away and worth the extra travel time! You'll find some wonderful walks and cycle routes nearby including the South Downs way, the Literacy Trail, Cissbury Ring, Chanctonbury Ring, the Downs Link, Pitch Hill and Leith Hill.

You are also centrally located between Guildford (40 minutes), Chichester (30 minutes), Brighton (30 minutes), Petworth (30 minutes) and London is only an hour away on the train. There are also many great pubs and restaurants nearby and the owners will be happy to recommend all to you prior to your arrival.
