Rancher's Hut

Ready to escape the everyday and retreat to a rural hideaway exuding adventure? Rancher's Hut is a rustic, off-grid, wooden cabin, expertly designed with your enjoyment in mind. With panoramic views over the surrounding countryside, comfortable interiors, a fire-pit, shared pizza oven and wood-fired hot tub, we just know whatever your plans may be, you're going to have a wild time here.

Based on a working family farm, you'll see dairy cattle grazing in nearby fields. Rest assured the 1.5 acre glamping meadow is completely enclosed and private, so you won't be receiving any bovine visitors during your stay. Instead the cabin shares the field with Beaver's Lodge Safari Tent (2767). The hideaways are positioned in such a way that they assure plenty of privacy, with their own separate amenities and outdoor spaces.

Inside Rancher's Hut you'll find the interiors are beautifully furnished and feature western-themed details throughout. In the kitchen there's a small fridge, oven, and stylish farmhouse sink. Adjoining this sits the breakfast-bar with leather bar stools and a wood-burning stove that keeps the cabin cosy throughout the seasons. It's a gorgeously snug space where you can cook up a feast and then gather round the table, discussing your plans for the day ahead.

To one side of the cabin, you'll find the main bedroom. Adorned with a plush king-size bed, sumptuous linens and fluffy pillows. After a day walking the countryside - shepherding your own little cattle along the way - you can fall back into these sheets and dream deeply.

The second bedroom is located on the other side of the cabin and features quirky handcrafted bunk-beds. With so many features to inspire the imagination, kids will no doubt love climbing into these and playing cowboys and cattle ranchers. Next to the second bedroom, you'll find the shower-room which features a luxurious shower, stone sink, and copper pipe fittings. This is a glorious place to indulge in a spot of self-care; rinsing away the cares of the day and soaking up some much needed you-time.

To the front of the hut, you have a substantial wooden verandah where you can sit out and start your day, sipping your coffee as the sun rises. Outside you'll also find al fresco dining furniture and sun-loungers plus onsite there's also a shared, covered, outdoor cooking area, complete with a wood-fired DeliVita pizza oven so don't forget to bring all the necessary ingredients, including your favourite toppings! After dinner you can retreat to the wood-fired hot tub or sunken seating area with a fire-pit. Both are blissful venues for sitting back and sipping some bubbles, watching as the sun slips below the horizon and the stars slowly appear.

Rancher's Hut is an extremely eco-friendly property as the cabin is completely off-grid and powered by solar energy. Also sharing this lovely setting is Otter's Holt Shepherd's Hut (3013), however all three properties onsite have their own privacy.
