Super-kingWelcome to 3 Harbour Court, a stylish bijou first floor apartment perfectly placed in the beating heart of Portscatho village and just a stone's throw from the pretty harbour, scenic coast path and stunning beaches of the Roseland peninsula.
Portscatho has all you need for the perfect holiday and 3 Harbour Court has everything virtually on the doorstep. With a lovely selection of traditional village shops, eateries and cafes you may never need to take your car out but if you do decide to travel further afield the delights of Cornwall await.
Conveniently tucked away off the main street in Portscatho, 3 Harbour Court can be found just behind the harbour. Tatams, which serves freshly brewed coffee alongside a great selection of gorgeous pastries, can be found just around the corner on the harbour wall (the perfect start to the day), and the Tavola - an authentic Italian bar and takeaway - is just next door so that's breakfast, lunch and dinner all taken care of and just moments away!
Access is shared with one other apartment with key entry to the door at the bottom of the stairs which split at the top. The left-hand staircase leads to 3 Harbour Court and the door leads into the open plan living area. Light, bright and welcoming, the stylish interior has been cleverly designed to make the most of the space and those memorising sea views. The sitting-area has a comfy sofa and armchair, perfect for gazing out to sea. A breakfast-bar sits in-between the sitting-area and kitchen, making the most of the views and giving you a bird's eye view over the roof tops to the harbour. The kitchen has all the equipment you will need to whip up a holiday meal and of course the dishwasher will take care of the washing up!
Outside the kitchen a door leads onto a small balcony with just enough space for two. This little spot is the perfect place to sit and drink in the view or perhaps catch up on some holiday reading to the sound of the sea gently lapping against the seawall.
The bedroom is delightful, decorated in whites and blues - a nod to the nautical location. White plantation shutters give this room a Mediterranean vibe and a great night's sleep is assured in the super-king size bed. The shower-room is perfect after a busy day out and about. Parking is available in the village square but there are time restrictions, so it is recommended that you park a short walk away in New Road pay and display car park.
Whether you are looking for a romantic bolthole or simply looking for some time out in a quaint Cornish village, 3 Harbour Court has all the ingredients for the perfect getaway.
The Roseland peninsula is a fabulous place for a holiday where you will discover glorious countryside, breathtakingly beautiful beaches, hidden coves and pretty fishing villages. The much sought-after village of Portscatho sits on the sheltered easterly side of the peninsula with far-reaching views over Gerrans Bay and beyond. The village is home to a good variety of shops and eateries with the renowned Curgurrell Farm Shop just a short journey away where you can stock up on the freshest seafood, home-grown meats, vegetables, bread and diary produce. Take a short stroll along the coast path and you will find the Hidden Hut which sits overlooking Porthcurnick beach and where you sit side by side on wooden benches enjoying the freshest of local produce.
The vibrant village of St Mawes is also a short journey away with a great choice of places to eat from fish and chips from paper sitting on the harbour wall to fine dining and everything in-between. Hire a kayak or paddle board and explore the many coves and inlets around the harbour or perhaps catch the seasonal passenger ferry to the maritime town of Falmouth with an eclectic assortment of shops and a renowned museum. Further afield the mighty biomes of the Eden Project make for an interesting day out or perhaps The Lost Gardens of Heligan, lost in time since WWI, discovered thirty years ago and now sympathetically restored. However you plan to spend your days, 3 Harbour Court is a great base for all your Cornish adventures.
