What a delightful getaway this is, set down a tree-lined lane amid the tranquility of beautiful countryside. With rustling leaves and birdsong as a background lullaby, you will relax and unwind in no time at all. Lee Cottage is a single-storey barn conversion, light-filled and facing out over its own secluded garden.

There is a big open plan living-room with archways leading through to a large conservatory running the length of the cottage, so plenty of space to spread out.

This tucked-away corner of Cornwall is less well-known, but with countryside all around and the beautiful south coast close by, this is a lovely location. Lee Cottage is perfect for families, couples and dog walkers, with woodland and coastal footpaths, superb beaches and easy access to good roads for exploring further afield.

After days out and about, you'll love returning home and relaxing in the garden to the sound of birdsong or in front of the warming wood-burner in cooler months.

The friendly owners live across the courtyard and are happy to welcome you and offer advice if requested but equally happy to leave you to yourselves so you can relax in peace and quiet. The owners' two friendly dogs will come to say hello when you arrive, offering a warm welcome of their own!

Lee Cottage is tucked into a sheltered setting, a comfortable and well presented home-from-home only ten minutes' drive from good access roads, with parking right outside and a couple of steps leading up from the parking-area into the open plan living-room. There is a fully fitted kitchen at one end, the sitting-area and wood-burner at the other and the dining-area in the middle, all flooded with light from the conservatory. The two bedrooms are on the opposite side, one with a king-size bed and the other with twin beds, and the family bathroom completes the accommodation.

Outside, there is a sheltered patio and steps down to a lawn, a lovely spot in which to sit out and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The coastal footpath meanders along clifftops past Looe and Polperro and on around Talland Bay, and there are wonderful walks right on your doorstep around the owners' smallholding and woodlands. There is shipwreck diving and shark fishing from Looe, ancient smugglers' haunts in Polperro, and the Bodinnick ferry meanders across to the sailing town of Fowey with the beaches of the beautiful Roseland peninsula a short drive further on.

With your own parking and private gardens, privacy is assured. One medium or two small well-behaved dogs are welcome so pack your walking boots and dog leads and let your four-legged friends enjoy a holiday too.
