KingFound in a tranquil and unspoilt part of far west Cornwall, approached by lanes full of wildflowers in the spring and summer, this gorgeous hideaway is set in its own sheltered and very pretty tropical oasis just a few miles from the beaches of St Ives and Marazion.
The Shepherd's Hut at Georgia Bridge sits in its own enclosed and private area just across the lane from the owners' beautiful home. It has been handcrafted with every attention to detail thought of and - with a bespoke-fitted kitchen, under-floor heating, wood-burner, king-size bed and en suite shower-room - is certainly luxury glamping!
There are all the cooking facilities required to rustle up a scrumptious supper - including a small oven and two ring hob, microwave, kettle and toaster - and the cosy wood-burner means out-of-season breaks are a must. The king-size bed, with its deep comfy mattress, sits at one end with a pretty picture window overlooking the buttercup meadow and countryside beyond.
The hut has been fully equipped with everything you will need including a TV and has been furnished in a very stylish neutral decor with lots of little extra touches to make your stay very comfortable indeed. There is even an en suite shower-room with plenty of hot water, a wash-basin and proper flushing toilet.
Outside is just as beautiful, tropical plants abound on the gravelled patio-area with a little table and chairs for al fresco dining and two sun loungers for soaking up the sun or just chilling with a good book listening to the sound of birdsong and the nearby babbling stream.
Just a short drive away is the famous artist town of St Ives, Marazion (overlooking the majestic St Michael's Mount) and the pretty village of Mousehole with their galleries, excellent restaurants and good pubs, So, if you can drag yourselves away from tranquillity of The Shepherd's Hut at Georgia Bridge, you will find plenty to do to make your holiday in this beautiful part of Cornwall a truly memorable one.
