This light and spacious apartment, with the most spectacular sea views, could just be the perfect coastal retreat. Sitting on the Sunny Corner side of Coverack, above the pretty arc-shaped bay, this recently refurbished apartment, previously part of the old Channel View Hotel, is a great base to explore this popular part of the Lizard peninsula. Thoughtfully designed and furnished 76 Degrees Blue offers guests a welcoming combination of style and comfort with many of the Owners’ homely finishing touches. With only a short walk to the local pub, shop and cafes, and a garden gate opening onto the South West Coast Path, 76 Degrees Blue is where some of the best holiday memories are made.

Accessed via a flight of 50 exterior steps and a further internal flight of stairs, you may want to stop halfway to take in and enjoy the views but rest assured, the prize at the bottom is more than worth the trip. Also if you prefer, you can take the walk along the coast path from the chapel and enter the apartment on ground level through the front door to avoid the steps. Once inside the light and spacious sitting/dining-room, with comfy sofas and furnishings, opens through French doors onto the outside deck where the views can be enjoyed at any time of day. A well-equipped kitchen with all modern facilities, two comfortable bedrooms, a shower-room with double shower and a private parking space complete this holiday haven. Located in the heart of the pretty village of Coverack, a short walk down the path leads you to the friendly pub and if you are feeling competitive there is a weekly quiz night to enter. Further along the bay you will find the cafe, restaurant and hotel all offering a mouth-watering selection of local produce depending on what you fancy, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner can all be found right on your doorstep as well as the small local shop for those essential items (closed on Sundays). For those seeking more activity you can join the coast path towards Porthallow and onto the Helford or in the other direction towards the Lizard, stopping at the sculpture gardens just off Chynhalls Point on the way. Or if you prefer to get closer to the water, why not pop down to the windsurfing school for a lesson or two!
