The Granary is a charming reversed level converted barn. The open plan living-room is upstairs with a well-equipped galley kitchen and a glowing wood-burner. Downstairs is a comfortable en suite bedroom. Tucked well away from the other two cottages, you will be quite private and able to indulge in a bit of rest and recuperation. A cot and highchair are available on request.
This delightful little bolthole is set within the gorgeous Teign Valley and has a balcony looking out over the countryside - a wonderful spot to sit and relax.
A pretty water-course bubbles its way gently past The Granary, through the courtyard of the other barns at Leigh Farm and down past a barbecue-area into the unfenced wildlife pond. There are 60 acres of fields and woodland to explore, the owners have a small herd of alpacas and there are often sheep grazing on their land (please keep the dog on a lead around livestock), and the lovely Devon coast is a short drive away.
Leigh Farm cottages are set on the south eastern edge of Dartmoor National Park close to Bovey Tracey, known as the gateway to Dartmoor, these are peaceful cottages tucked away in their own small hidden valley.
The wildlife here is wonderful, particularly for bird watching with lots of less common species nesting on the land.
Each cottage is quite separate and very comfortably furnished. The Forge (2677) and The Cob (2676) are side by side looking over the delightful grounds. Each has its own small sitting-out area and guests are welcome to explore the rest of the grounds. The Granary is more private, set up above the other two cottages.
