The 'wow' factor can be an over-used term – but not in this instance. Found in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a mile from Dartmoor, The Hay Barn is really special. With its own small private garden, inside there are views down to Bodmin Moor from the two tall narrow windows in the living-room, and the interior is a tribute to all things modern with stylish furnishings and superb interior design. A wood-burner ensures you will be delighted to come home and relax in its cosy warmth.

The owner thinks of everything – home-cooked meals can be ordered in advance, cycling or riding can be arranged and guests can even choose from a pillow menu, luxurious goose down to non-allergenic.

This is a gorgeous cottage with plenty of room to relax into a perfect holiday break. The owner has two other cottages, The Wool Shed (2596) next door and Medlar Cottage (2595), across the courtyard.

For eating out and shopping, nearby Tavistock has a superb range of restaurants, shops and a local Pannier market open six days a week. Being on the edge of Dartmoor and close to the border with Cornwall, there is masses to do and explore: riding, golf, kayaking on the River Tamar. Or visiting the numerous interesting National Trust properties in the area, not least Buckland Abbey, the former home of Sir Francis Drake which now has its own Rembrandt! Alternatively, what better than a good walk with the dog, perhaps a pub lunch somewhere and then returning to this fabulous cottage.

Please note that all three properties can be booked together for a party of up to nine plus two cots. For pricing and availability please contact the Booking Office.
