The award-winning forest and countryside around Grascott House is magical: more than 200 almost uninhabited acres including woodland, wildflower meadows and three small lakes. Approached by a mile long lane, this welcoming detached house – with Grascott Cottage (1241), Grenlecotte Cottage (1604), and Forest View (4195) nearby – offers a rural idyll.
The kitchen/dining-room brings generations together; cooks can create delicious feasts, children can access the garden along with the shared play equipment and games-room, and quieter types can snuggle up by the wood-burner. The sitting-room offers additional living space and has an open fire. The bedrooms occupy the first floor, the front rooms enjoying stunning woodland views. Grascott House will provide many happy holidays and is sure to become a family favourite.
The farmhouse also has a private wing, which is an annexe, used infrequently by the owner.
Once the peace and quiet have worked their magic and one and all have explored the quaint towns and villages close by and are ready to discover what's further afield, the coastlines of both Devon and Cornwall are an easy drive from Grascott House.
