Lovely, comfortable accommodation in a great location. Our hosts had thought of everything we needed to enjoy our holiday from the moment of arrival. Thank you.
mr Mellish August 2023
Perfect cottage for the two of us, clean, well equipped and very quiet. Great location for access to any area in the south west corner
Ms Statham August 2023
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kynance. It is a lovely property and equipped to a very high standard. The location is fabulous and it was easy to walk straight from the property to the coast path. Lizard village was just a short drive away and a great place to park when we wanted to walk farther up the coast path. We had a wonderful holiday!
Mrs Perowne August 2023
This is a lovely cottage, just right for 2 people and it has everything you might need. It is well-placed for walks along the coast and just over the road from the local pub, which serves good, reasonably priced food.
Mr Shepherd July 2023
We had wonderful stay at Kynance. The property has everything you need and lots of personal touches to make it a real 'home from home'. Cream tea and goodies on arrival including milk for that essential cup of tea after a long journey. It was lovely to meet the owner who visited personally when we arrived. Lots of information available in cottage on walks, easy access to coast path and nearby beaches and coves. Good bus service if needed. Used local shops and nearby cafe, excellent. Local pub nearby. Looking forward to returning to Kynance.
Mrs Pearn July 2023
A delightful little cottage for 2. Very well equiped, clean and comfortable. Would recommend the local fish and chip shop and the Cornish Curry Company.
Mrs Sinning May 2023
Kynance is a good place to stay . From here you can visit beauty spots to the north and to the south and the coast is within easy walking distance. The cottage is cosy, clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. The owner, who welcomed us personally, has thought of everything you might need. There was even a Cornish cream tea awaiting us on arrival. If we ever visited the area again, we would stay at Kynance.
Mrs Holder February 2023
A small well appointed and comfortable cottage perfect for two. Facilities available nearby are excellent and I managed to go the whole week without cooking a thing. Highly recommended.

Easy to use
Mr Holmes August 2022
Kynance was perfect for a holiday for two. The cottage was very comfortable and only a minutes walk to the Old Inn. Mullion is a lovely town and close to the coast to access walks along the coastal path. The walk to Porthleven was superb. Also the local bus service is great if you don’t want to be driving around all week. A visit to the Blue Anchor in Helston is essential.

Mrs Don October 2021
The owner kindly rang us shortly after we arrived to check everything was in order. We appreciated the welcome tea and scones and other goodies. Kitchen was very well equipped, much better than other cottages (not Classic) that we have stayed in. We also liked the fact that the property had a bath, when so many smaller properties seem to have just a shower.
Mr Duggan September 2021
Made to feel very welcome with the cream tea laid out, flowers and chocolates. We hadn't expected all the extras eg milk, tea, coffee, biscuits, tissues etc These were very much appreciated. The accommodation was very quiet, just what we needed.

Such a cosy and homely living space with lovely decor and superb cleanliness. The extra touches such as scones with jam and cream, a tea and coffee station and little chocolates made it extra special! Located in a gorgeous little village called Mullion, so peaceful and exactly what we were after.
Thank you again, we hope to return in the future!

The cottage felt for us, like an oasis of calm. The village of Mullion has all the supplies that one could need, plus the area of outstanding natural beauty, which for walkers like ourselves was a complete Godsend , with so many walks to do straight from the cottage. So all in all, for us it was a perfect bolthole in a particularly stressful year!

Mrs Recktenwald-Oepen July 2019
We enjoyed our vacation very much. The cottage is very well equipped, and the owners are very attentive, helpful and hospitable. Thank you very much.
In walking distance are restaurants and a grocery store. The way to the very beautiful beaches is short. By car you can reach other pretty villages in a very short time. Simply recommendable.
Mrs Watkins April 2019
This property was excellent in a great location, To be able to hear the birds in the morning was very relaxing, cooker, microwave, washing machine, shower and bath all that was needed for a good stay away from home and owner only a phone call away if needed.
Mrs Owen July 2018
A lovely property, very well furnished and supplied. A cream tea on arrival and a warm welcome from the owner who was very informative about local amenities and attractions. Polurrian Bay beach is within walking distance down a bridle path and although our visit was during the lovely hot weather and school holidays it was never crowded - good surf too! The village is a great base for visiting south west Cornwall, and has a well-stocked Spar shop, two pubs which serve food, plus a restaurant and a curry takeaway trailer. We would thoroughly recommend!
Mrs Edwards July 2018
Seems to be a mixed community of hoilday let and older peoples homes. It was quiet but busy during our stay with pedestrians on foot walking past the property. There is no barn door as described on the property details which was a pity as would have helped with air circulation. It was pleasant decor although dated in style. There was just enough of everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the room size good for a one bed property. The property is also clean. The parking was good with a pleasant village in easy walking distance. Good base to explore the coves in the area.
Mr Keating July 2018
A quiet comfortable and well equipped cottage close to the village centre. We had a great week there.
Mr Aldred June 2018
The owner keeps the property in lovely condition and goes the extra mile, to ensure a memorable stay in Mullion.
Mrs Brooks June 2018
Fantastic little holiday cottage - very comfortable and in a great location
Mrs Kukla April 2018
So well-equipped, comfortable and well located. All the small touches - basics in the fridge, salt and pepper mills, loo rolls, soap and cleaning equipment and the excellent cream tea on arrival - made our stay extra-special. What more could you want for a relaxed week walking along the coast path each day!
Mr Whittaker September 2017
This cottage has it all - excellent vvillage centre location, peace and quiet and immaculately equipped and cared for.
Mrs Brooks September 2017
Absolutely superb little cottage with extra touches that make it really special. Great company to deal with too.
Mrs Burnett September 2017
An amazing cottage. Description didn't do it justice. Cottage had far more than described. It had excellent Wi Fi , and all bed linen plus ingredients to get you going - tea/coffee etc Everything you could possibly need. Owner went the extra mile both on welcoming us on arrival and dealing with a water main burst - quite out of her control but she went out of her way to try and make up for any distress caused to us. Perfectly placed for popping to Spa or to one of the eating places yet really quite and secluded. It was excellent. Could recommend wholeheartedly.
Miss Fell August 2017
Excellent cottage, well equipped kitchen and owner made us feel very welcome. Definitely recommend this cottage.
Mr Cornelius August 2017
Fantastic location ,within walking distance of pubs, restaurants and shops. Shops have a fair stock of every thing you would need for self catering and if you didn't the two pubs offer good food at reasonable prices .The hospitality shown by the owners is fantastic making your stay a real pleasure , a home from home . The rooms and decoration are bright and airy with very comfortable furniture and bed .There is a good TV and DVD player with a selection of DVDs for those rainy days or if you prefer a quieter moment there is a book shelf full of novels and reference books. This cottage is a farm building converted very sympathetically and is on the edge of a lovely sunny court yard with lawns and nice garden boarders . Parking is off road,a shared enclosed area but plenty of room .Mullion is a good base to explore the southwest of Cornwall by car but if you would prefer walking this is an excellent starting point for the Lizard. Highly recommended A lovely place to stay.
Mrs Byrom May 2017
Gorgeous cottage in a great location. Village is lovely with lots of amenities and the walks directly from the cottage are stunning.

Thanks so much for telling us about this problem - as you know, when we investigated what had happened we discovered a 'perfect storm' of events which led to the Housekeeper getting a little mixed up about your arrival date. This has never happened before and we've made some changes to help stop it from happening again. We were glad that you enjoyed your time at Kynance despite this, and we're really sorry for the initial confusion. Tanya, Customer Support
Mr Harvey August 2013
Wonderful premises situated in a wonderful part of England. An unmissable combination - it was perfect.
Mrs Highton June 2013
Kynance cottage is an oasis of calm in the heart of this lovely village. It is very well appointed and comfortable, with lovely touches to ensure your stay feels like a home from home. The local deli is a few steps away, selling delicious local produce - either to take away or eat in - and the first of two local pubs is a mere 50yds walk. The cottage is ideally situated, with ample parking, and has a very cosy feel to it, with the stable door overlooking the communal garden and is very light and airy. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful haven in this glorious county.
Mr Treece-Birch June 2013
This is a wonderful place to stay and the cottage is lovely. We were surprised to have flowers, a cream tea and shortbread waiting for us. It is very well equipped. We would definitely recommend it to others and hopefully visit again.
Mr Mountford June 2013
Excellent and very comfortable accommodation with everything you could possibly want provided for an enjoyable stay. Visit to Trebah Gardens well worth it, but do go the 'long' way, don't try to use the little lanes - an absolute nightmare! Visit Cadgwith and buy a crab - delicious!
