The Shippen is the middle of the three cottages and has parking in front of the white garage. The parking is not suitable for SUVs, 4x4s or Estate cars.

This was our second stay at the Shippen. It is in a brilliant location, a couple of minutes from the Harbour and shops, with plenty of opportunities for walking and with parking space for one small car. Two excellent pubs in Boscastle - The Cobweb and The Napoleon (up the hill!). The price for our two week holiday had increased but the facilities and state of the cottage had not improved since our previous stay, and we feel it is now in great need of upgrading and improving. Nevertheless, it is a good base for North Cornwall, and Boscastle is a lovely place....

If you enjoy the north coast of Cornwall and/or walking , this is ideal for two/three. The property is well equipped and close to amenities and good restaurants. Just be aware that you need to negotiate steps every time you leave or return to the property....

I had a great stay at the Shippen. I immediately felt at home. It's location is amazing with easy access to the shops in Boscastle as well as the coast path. The small terrace outside is perfect to sit out and people watch and is such as a sun trap. I will definitely return to this cottage ...

A lovely comfortable cottage with stunning views and in an ideal location. We really enjoyed our stay at The Shippen and were lucky to be able to sit outside and enjoy those views and listen to the river bubbling down to the harbour even in early October.
