The Shippen is the middle of the three cottages and has parking in front of the white garage. The parking is not suitable for SUVs, 4x4s or Estate cars.

The location is gorgeous and the cottage very warm and cosy, would recommend to anyone who enjoys walking. Everyone is very friendly in the local shops and pubs.

It's our second time we've stayed at The Shippen and it has everything you need, we always keep bringing our own stuff like coffee, tea towels, bath towels, cooking utensils, etc (as we usually stay in static caravans we had to bring our own stuff as the items provided weren't sufficient or not there) and we forget when we come here that we don't even need to do that, even down to spices!!! Would recommend bringing a large frying pan as well though as it'll help with the cooking (that's if you actually decided to eat in, plenty of choices for food around) They even have a few board games on hand and we just got engrossed into scrabble (which we have never really played before) Most of the evenings you'll probably spend your time up on the cliffs staring out into the ocean enjoying that nice relaxing breeze and the silence it brings from modern day life, just sit and chill with the sounds of the ocean and of course the occasional seagull It's a lovely place to stay and it's in the perfect location, will definitely return at a later date...
