The Granary is a unique and quaint property. It’s small but very well designed and well equipped. The garden is lovely, providing a seating area and access to a wonderful pond. The owners are very welcoming and were keen to make our stay enjoyable without being intrusive. This cottage was a little gem. Well equipped and very comfortable within walking distance of a very good pub and convenience store. Excellent inland and coastal walks from the doorstep. A short drive to the free car park at Mount Batten where you can hop onto the passenger ferry to Plymouth. Had a lovely orchard area with a pond teeming with wildlife. Also had a good parking spot. The cottage was perfectly situated for accessing all the local beaches, of which Wembury was our favourite. Plymouth was easy to get to by using the ferry at Mount Batten which by the way has free parking right near the ferry terminal. If you go there don't miss that Box an amazing public art gallery. Sue and Andy were great hosts and we hope to return sometime, oh by the way do eat at the Mussel inn the food is great and so are the staff....
